M.J. Whitemarsh Consulting serves clients in the Not for Profit, Technology, Construction, Safety and Small Business sectors sharing business acumen to improve business approaches, create strategic government and stakeholder relations and solid project management.
Previously M.J. served as CEO of the Canadian Home Builders’ Association of BC where she spearheaded industry-led certified education and training, implementation of green building technologies and the promotion, development and delivery management of effective industry trades training.
M.J. has chaired and participated provincially and nationally in many boards, task forces, and committees including Director, Chair-Governance Committee and member of the iHealth Task Force of Island Health Authority (VIHA), Director, Technical Education and Career Council (TECC), and the BC Small Business Round Table (SBRT).
M.J. is a former Governor of the British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCIT) a former Director of the Industry Training Authority (ITA), former Chair of the Residential Construction Industry Training Organization and a graduate of the Executive Marketing program, University of British Columbia (UBC).
M.J. presently serves as Senior Consultant of Government & Stakeholder Relations and Chair of the Education Committee to the BC Common Ground Alliance
